I think this is simple. Democrats have to win the white house in the next election to shutdown the investigation into their actions that will if persued will expose the conspiracy to destroy the west and impose a dictatorial world government. The dims thought this stupid ploy would help them out. The senate is starting to make noises about conducting a real investigation into the impeachment and that would be bad for the dims. So expect the impeachment show to continue for a short while then disappear. Impeachment will never be sent to the senate. IMHO.
