Gowdy is good at procedure and saying the right things at times but worthless at action or decision making.
I don’t dislike him but I don’t have a lot of respect for him either.

He can be a very effective speaker and I use to enjoy watching him take people apart. We’ll have to wait and see.

He was USELESS as a Congressman.....hopefully he will REDEEM himself!

I see Gowdy as a very precise, meticulous prosecutor.
He doesn’t want his case to have warts. He wants to keep it just the FACTS. There are many prosecutors who go to trial with fingers crossed that have enough evidence to convict.
Gowdy is the opposite. He must be SURE.
I am encouraged that he joined the group. He must see what the evidence is and he is satisfied that....the most important thing...he WILL WIN.
Gowdy was one of Paul RINO’s guys. He talks very well in front of a camera. Away from it, he made sure that any investigation the Republican majority did, went nowhere.
I’ll never, EVER be as smart and talented as Trey Gowdy, but when it comes to really leading in the effort to help drain the swamp, he’s just the “fluffer girl”; he gets things exposed and going but there’s never any ‘happy ending’.
Trey Gowdy is a great, insightful presenter.
Let’s hope it is more than just ‘talk the talk’ this time.

Terrible choice. Gowdy is 100% Deep State. This is like asking a snake to take care of your kids.

A few FReepers don’t like him because he never jailed anybody or prosecuted anybody, that wasn’t his job.
It was his job to guide the truth and have those prosecutors find it.
He is a fine Man.
I’m willing to cut him some slack because a congressman can only do so much, especially when you are in the minority.
It could be interesting with him now because he will be able to let his hair down now, as it were.
