We cancelled cable about three mos ago. Never missed it for a minute.

As I type this, my one TV screen is shut off and I'm sitting with my laptop on my deck taking in a perfect autumn day with a Mozart piano concerto playing on my bluetooth speakers. In about an hour we are going to go visit some farm stands and get some fresh produce.
I guess there's some football games tonight. I might check the scores on the ESPN website later today - or maybe not.
Tonight, I'm going to pour a glass of wine and resume reading "Clash Of Kings" by George R.R. Martin.
I wouldn’t worry about Ed. He asks uncomfortable questions of lefties too. Since they are such pathetic liars they always come off worse than conservatives.
My suspicion is Ed quietly joined the Trump train a long time ago.
FNC is about 70% gone. OAN is good but may not get much further as many of the major providers (no doubt word has gone out) will not carry them. Once that POS Ryan completes his mission we will be down to FR and radio. If by the grace of God Trump gets his 2nd term I hope he drops the hammer on the left’s death grip on media.

Conservative radio host Mark Levin seemed irritated on Sunday when he was repeatedly questioned on whether he approves of Donald Trump’s actions at the heart of the president’s Ukraine scandal.
In a chat with Fox & Friends, Levin ranted against Democrats for their renewed efforts to impeach the president. As he trashed the whistleblower who raised the alarm over Trump’s efforts to get Ukraine to conduct an investigation into former Vice President Joe Biden (his potential 2020 rival), Ed Henry asked Levin if he thought Trump did anything “illegal” during his call with President Volodymyr Zelensky.
“What crime was violated?” Levin responded. “It’s not illegal. The question is whether Biden did something illegal. The president didn’t do anything illegal.”
As Levin proceeded to bash the media for not doing more to look into the unsubstantiated criminal allegations against the Biden family, Henry tried to get back on topic and asked “so you’re okay with a president asking another president to dig up dirt on a candidate?”
“He’s a former vice president,” Pete Hegseth interjected as Levin asked “what dirt are you talking about?” When Henry re-asked the question, Levin grumbled that “your question is not honest.”
Levin repeatedly objected as Henry invoked the relevant portion of the Trump-Zelensky transcript and said its not a “trick question.”

“So what he asked about Joe Biden?” Levin said “Is he not allowed to ask about Joe Biden?… What’s the problem with it?”
Levin continued by declaring that Trump’s conduct was “not illegal, it’s not immoral, it’s not ununethical, and if you guys in the media would do your damn job and ask Joe Biden and Hunter Biden what the Hell’s going on, maybe the president wouldn’t have to raise the issue.” He also concluded later on by saying “I don’t have a problem” with Trump’s request to Zelensky.

Ed Henry is a boor........he interrupts, doesn’t give his interviewee’s time to respond fully....I don’t like him.
We are in our third year of no cable and no bs posing as news.
Besides saving about $200/month, we have more time to read, walk, do outside things and talk to relatives/friends across the nation.
Also, we are not funding ABCNNBCBS nor Faux without a monthly cable fee.

There is nothing redeeming about it. The cable “news” networks are 24/7 negativity all the time. They are literally poisoning us.
If you like to watch movies or certain TV shows, there are many options to stream them without subscribing to cable TV.
I’ve had no cable television for three years now and it was one of the most positive changes I ever made in my life. Not only am I more informed but I now have time to read a lot of good books and go outside for walks. Used to be a big NFL fan but no more. I have my Sundays back! Later today, my wife and I are going to travel some backroads to various farm stands and get some fresh produce. Last weekend, we went to an Octoberfest and a county fair.
My blood pressure is down and my general health is excellent.
I highly recommend cancelling cable TV. It is TOXIC.

Actually, I think from your exchange Levin was being a lawyer too. There is something highly unethical about what the President did, and it hangs on the technicality of Biden being his current “opponent.” Nothing would have been ethically violated if Trump were asking to investigate Hillary or Obama. The corruption regarded the Bidens was somewhere President Trump should not have gone, SOLELY BECAUSE AT THE MOMENT BIDEN WAS A POLITICAL OPPONENT. Dumb move by Trump.
Trump has done a million dumb things, as have we all. It is part of being human.
If the Democrats want to impeach him they will do so—if they don’t want to they won’t.
The current media hysteria is just media hysteria.
Go outside, take off your shoes, and feel nature.

Why do you post such nonsense?
Yes, the are a couple of bad apples in the Fox lineup (Chris Wallace being the most prominent) but 90% of their programming is very pro-Trump. That might be 95%.
I don’t watch Chris Wallace nor the other bad apple or two. Boring. Lies. Essentially free of content.
But from 1:00 PM PST weekdays until midnight you will see very little if any Chris Wallace type crap on Fox.
