Sounds like they are still planning to impeach him even after re-election. Why not, it worked on Nixon, well not the impeachment part but the threat of it.
Many Democratic voters still want impeachment, so if the Democrats say they’ve ruled out impeachment, those voters will be angry and maybe they’ll decide not to vote next November. There might even be angry “We Want Impeachment!” protests.
The Democrats are treating their voters like children who demand a new toy. To avoid a tantrum (”I hate you! I’m running away from home!”), they must say “maybe” rather than “no.”
It will end when we take over the House and keep the Senate. And what will keep it dead is indictments and conviction of dozens of communists Democrats.
I agree. Frankly, it is a dereliction of their duty towards their constituents for them to not impeach him. Their job is to impeach him, that is what they were elected to do.
Oh, yes, Jabba Nadler, please try your impotent attempt to impeach Trump during the run-up to the November 2020 election! That will DEFINITELY cause a landslide re-election!
IOW - despite our failed attempt to rile up American citizens with the nothing burger Mueller report, we will try and save face by implying that it is still possible to impeach the President.

Their aim is to keep impeachment alive in the news then file it in late October 2020 so there will be no time for a trial in the Senate before the voting.
