What he is saying is not egocentric it is (maybe in Queensian”) that the governor there is an idiot and needs to be removed from office. If they don’t know what the US did for them but, rather than publicly appreciate what trump did as president post hurricane, condemn trump and the US and misuse tge aid, the governor needs to go. The leadership is terrible
He makes them look stupid and they are quite aware of it.

Trump's policies on spending and deficits are not Conservative.
Trump's policies on immigration and foreign workers are pure political theater.
Trump is either completely helpless, or he is not even trying.
