My recollection, is that in those days, busing was opposed by about a 2-1 margin nationwide, and that barely half of black people supported busing. Busing was not a popular cause of the day in the area of civil rights.
Joe spoke a bit about his support for “LGBT civil rights”. Wait until someone bashes him over the fact that he voted for the Defense of Marriage Act. In those days, homosexual marriage was not celebrated as a great civil rights milestone as it is today.

Odd, since the Berkeley schools were integrated long before Kamala was born in 1964. She moved to Canada with her mother when she was 12.
