AND interfere in other nation’s elections. Tides Foundation stated its goal was to destroy Alberta’s oil sands and have near done that.

Hehe...thanks but that’s not what I meant. Somehow it was moved within the frame before I saved it, the top is cut off and I think part of the right hand side...that means do it over from scratch. Can’t fix missing parts cut off and long gone...it was originally Reagan, I just did a little creative editing.

When I opened it this morning, I found a white background stripe on bottom and left side. That means it got moved before I saved the edit and I never knew it. So it was off center, parts are gone forever. But I still have both originals to work with. Tedious project and I’m not good at it but I can do it...

I already resized it and reduced it from the original, I think I went with 70%. Might go a little smaller, not sure yet. For some reason when I try to use the code to reduce the size of a picture when I post it, I never have gotten it to work either by size or percentage, it always stays full size.

Exactly. He knew what Stephanopoulos was going to do, he knew the 30 year Clinton operative would be nowhere near fair or objective, that’s why I thought the minute I heard it he was trolling the whole bunch. Check out pictures of Slick Willie in office, little George is usually not far away. He was chief advisor. Still close friend, donated $150,000 to the Clinton Foundation, no telling how much to Hillary’s campaign...

I don’t know how many times I’ve said it, Trump is always 3 steps ahead of them.

Also this -

Never underestimate Donald Trump.

I know I’ve posted that here on FR dozens of times. Don’t ever underestimate that guy, bad idea. That’s the main reason Hillary lost.

1. She underestimated Donald Trump....big time...

2. She ran a lazy, sloppy campaign, ignored places she should have gone.

3. The more people listen to her, the less they like her.

You also made a point I’ve made more than once. Somewhere in a little corner of Trump Tower I’m betting he had a written out plan to get elected. Everything he’s done for the past 40 years has been based on written business plans. Nothing he did was random, very little off the cuff, 95% of it was strictly according to plan. Yes he did ad lib a little now and then, but very little...people just don’t know it. As you said, he doesn’t go to the bathroom without a plan.

I found out about this when I thought about trying to get a business loan from the Small Business Administration. (decided against it, that big loan is what kills about 80% of all small business start ups) The first thing they want to see is a written business plan that shows them specifically how you intend to turn a profit that will make you a living and pay back that loan.

That’s what Donald Trump has been doing for 40 years. Anyone who thinks you just land a plane in India or New Delhi or wherever and decide Hey, I think I’ll build a hotel here, is nuts. Out of your freakin mind...First thing you have to do is show them how your hotel will contribute to their economy. And you have one chance to be very convincing. Don’t even think about buying a shovel till you get their consent. You won’t be using it until they are convinced it will bring money into their country. Then you buy the land...

I made another point several times during his campaign too, when people commented that he is not a politician. He has been dealing with politicians on a worldwide level for at least 30 years. He has to convince them his hotel will add to their local economy and get their okey dokey to build. He knows politicians better than most people think. They’ve also been his friends for 30 years. Who thinks every politician in the country didn’t want to be his best buddy and get their hands on his millions? Trump and Schumer have been friends for over 20 years.

I still think he has a written list somewhere of all his campaign promises. And he’s been putting check marks on it ever since Jan 22, 2017. And I do mean a physical, hand written list...with little check marks...boy would I love to get my hands on that memento...any idea what it would be worth 20 or 30 years from now???

The ice skating rink...

They originally had a guy from Florida trying to do the ice...What the hell does a guy in Florida know about ice??? (his words in an interview) So Trump called a friend who recommended a guy from Canada who was using a brine method instead of the freon they had been trying. (which was a sloppy job and resulted in hundreds of freon leaks) The brine runs in PVC pipes and they had no leaks. Repairs later are cheap and easy too.

The city didn’t want him to do it at first, they expected him to put his name on it. Well sure, he’s proud of what he builds...so he agreed to do it without his name and he makes no royalties I think.

First thing he did was look it over, the concrete was bad, already cracked and off level, he tore it all out and started over, and poured a foot thick pad instead of the 4 inch they originally planned to use. He said the concrete trucks tied up traffic all across Manhattan all day...(with a chuckle)

When it was finished they had ice in 2 hours, an olympic skater took a couple of turns and said it was like velvet...it opened not long afterward.

And he said himself he knew absolutely nothing about an ice skating rink when he started...he just knew it had been several years and no rink, $7 million down an endless money hole, he promised them (In spring) it would be finished by Christmas, and if it went over a specific amount he would pay the rest out of his pocket. He knew nothing about it, he just knew he could do it. Period...and that’s another key point...he KNEW...he could do it...no guesswork, he knew it.

He finished it 2 months ahead of schedule and $70,000 under budget. That’s just the way he does things. And it wasn’t built cheap and sloppy...just well and efficiently. (it may have been $700,000 under budget, that detail I’m not sure of)

That’s why I have confidence we did the right thing electing Donald Trump. He believes in doing it right the first time, ahead of schedule and under budget, while maintaining quality too. No such thing as cheap and quick. Do it right and efficient. He streamlined his jobs by talking to the regular guys on his job sites the past 40 years. Not the bosses in 3 piece suits, the guys who hammer in the nails and hang the iron beams...he can’t stand the stuffed suits, he’d rather talk to you or me every time. Ask the people who have known him for 20 years, every one of them will tell you that, he’s more comfortable talking to the regular guy off the street than the millionaires in the board rooms. Rudy Giuliani said that.

That’s why he knows how to talk to the voters...he already speaks their language. He’s been talking to them for 40 years on a regular basis. Nobody knows when he will show up on a job site, walk up and say hi...

Just the right guy for the job...and yeah, he was trolling the democrats big time...

I agree with you 100%. Much of what you and I both spoke of here is sitting right in The Art of the Deal.

I originally had wanted Ted Cruz, and knew that if Trump entered the race he would ruin it for Cruz. As things turned out, I am extremely happy that he did just this. I knew after that first speech Trump would either crash and burn in a week or two, or that he would be the next President. Once he was in for about 2 weeks, I got The Art of the Deal at the library and read it cover-to-cover twice. I learned a lot about not just the man, but also about how he does business, and how politicians always screw things up (not that I needed a book to tell me that, but the book gave me names and particulars). That he is not your average politician is a huge plus in my book. I am 58, and I have seen every combination of Republican and Democrat in the House, in the Senate and in the White House. Over all of that time, with the brief exception of Reagan’s first six years, it has been a steady slide down. Just like war is too important to be left to the generals, politics is too important to be left to the politicians. Continuing along the same path would have been insanity, and I knew that Donald Trump was the right guy for the times and the right guy to take on the swamp. I am eternally grateful to God for putting in Trump’s mind the idea of running for President, and for having him win a magnificent victory against the ultimate swamp creature. I can’t wait till November of next year, when the liberal tears will flow yet again.

I never read his book, haven't run across a copy and on what I make (social security) it's hard to buy new ones.

I heard rumors he might run about 3 months before he announced, some of them here on FR, and started to look up information, I knew almost nothing about Donald Trump. Just another millionaire, so what... was pretty much my entire opinion.

I found out what he said is true, before he decided to run he never got bad press. I watched when he came down that escalator and made his original announcement speech, if that was what he meant to do, he had my vote. I had my fingers crossed he would, actually. And I originally wanted to see Cruz drop out and run as Trump's VP...

I was a Cruz fan, but knew Trump was the right guy soon as he announced. I lost all faith in Cruz when he refused to keep the promise he signed, and endorse the Republican nominee. He helped pressure Trump into signing it, then refused to do the same? I voted against Cruz in the 2018 primary, unfortunately he won anyway and I had to hold my nose and vote against Robert Francis O'Rourke in the general...

The one thing I keep trying to get people to understand is that this is all about one concept. Trump said the day he announced he would stop the corruption in DC. The politicians and press went hysterical before he even got offstage...all the rest is nothing but smokescreen.

He is slowly chipping away at their corruption, and the more he stays at it, the more desperate they are to bring him down. I suspect it will be downright dangerous by the time he gets re elected. He's already been wearing a kevlar vest since not long after he announced is my guess...probably why he goes around with that suit unbuttoned a lot of the time.

And the reaction of politicians and press is the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen. I don;t know who remembers it, but they even went hysterical because a picture of him in the wind showed a strip of scotch tape to hold the two pieces of his tie together...I never thought of that, wish I Had...I almost never wear a suit, but when I do, a little wind and both strips of cloth go different directions if it doesn't have that loop to put the underside in...

That's plain common sense, like 90% of what he does, and the idiots acted like it was the most stupid thing they had ever seen...I wonder how many of them thought the same thing I did...I wish I had thought of that...

And all of it for one reason...he fully intends to stop the corruption in DC and they are going to fight to keep it going no matter what, no matter how many lies they have to feed the sheeple, no matter how illegal it is they will do it. Gotta keep that gravy train from being derailed.

I'm listening to a story about the citizenship question in the Census now. Plain common sense, and it's a question that was in the Census until the 50's. Now just because Trump wants to do the exact same thing that was done before, suddenly it's "racist"...

Nope, that's all a lie, they want to keep public opinion down. They want to keep his approval rate down as much as possible, so people might look at that and decide he's not the president they want next time. Oh nobody likes him, we need someone else...and it drives them nutz that his approval rating is around 45% and keeps inching upwards despite their lies.

I could keep going for an hour...President Trump, the gift that keeps on giving...not to mention it's the most entertaining round of politics I've ever seen...

I also have a bigger version if anyone wants to use it here's the link, feel free to use either.
