I wish to hell that the media would get their act together in reporting names in a format recognizable to the English speaking world:

Mirian Zelaya-Gomez
Mirna Zelaya

1/ Note the hyphen
2/ We rarely use accent marks
3/ Gomez is her mommy’s family name, as if any of us cares.

All in all, the adding of a hyphen is the most important. Using Gomez as the family name allows lots of people to skate out on charges.

I doubt she has any concerns...if jailed she’ll get three squares etc. and hang out with the other ‘girlfriends’ playing cards. ....most coming here already have other illegal family members here, so they form a base and claim they’re all related even if they aren’t because they know they will be first to be let go if they have a place to stay.
