I believe Trump is the chemotherapy to get rid of this cancer - Cancer of Washington DC. The Cancer will fight back, but if we get a stronger dose of chemotherapy - that is Trump Supporters in the House and Senate - the Cancer will be eliminated.

I think the metaphor touches nerves with too many is all. The author's (VDH) 27 year old daughter died of leukemia.
