Her run for Presidency is essentially dead, which is the consequence of her lying about her race. You are right that Harris is who the Dem movers and shakers want. A minority must be on the ticket, preferably at the top.

I agree...this was to clear out a path, but I’m not sure it’s for Kamala Harris. I think Beto might be the ‘Obama’ type candidate to come out of nowhere and get Bezos support.
One other question here....who else listed themselves in the 1960s/1970s as American Indian. Warren probably isn’t the only one to have done this.

It’s called satire. Yes it would be equally witty, just like Hillary’s “Ain’t no ways tarred.” Plenty of examples of making light of others’ dialect. Fuggedaboudit. I don’t think that raises the PC needle too much, as the left so enjoys making fun of southern accents.
She’s white, therefore she has privilege, but she identifies as a person with supposedly no privilege to get extra stuff, which pays off really nice.
For us regular folks, you had to present your tribal number to get the perks/privileges. You had to actually prove you were an Indian.

Good result from this will be if she is forced to resign from the Senate. She is an admitted fraud.
Looking at that registration card dates my blood boils. ETS from the Army and applied to Rotgers law with LSATs above 650. Turned down. Met with the Dean of the School whom I knew. Told me any application from a non minority that was not backed up with virtually perfect scores was rejected due to a minority and woman applicant push. Told me to apply next year and surely I would be admitted but not that year. I got a job and moved on. Given her bar admittance date, I feel Lieawatha bumped me out of acceptance.
Don’t kid yourself. Harris will be a tough opponent for a variety of reasons. Be careful about what you wish for.
She might be hoping to become president so she can pull a barry soetoro and have all her records sealed from the public.
