Keep going, Liz. Since when are ANY Americans responsible for a debt of any kind run up by someone else? I don’t care what kind of debt it is or who incurred it. It is NOT OUR RESPONSIBILITY!
This is a ready made research project for some enterprising journalists to ferret out the homes (in some cases more than one) of these progressives and publicize them during the campaign.

Warren obviously has some memory problems.
Carter put a high tax on large boats.
It KILLED the boat industry-—
Thousands of skilled workers OUT of work.
Millionslost in sales taxes-—registration fees-—fuel taxes-—you name it.
More millions lost in jobs that maintained such boats & marinas. Lost sales revenue including boat supplies-—sheets—blankets-—kitchen supplies— & clothing.
Today, the boat industry is back on decent footing, but I don’t think it EVER fully recovered.
Does Warren -—or ANY DEM—for that matter—have ANY idea how much income is attached to building such boats? It takes thousands of hours of man power to build a $100 million yacht. Commissions on the sale-—docking fees-—employees running the yacht for the owner.
ENVY for what someone else can afford & wishes to buy isn’t a political policy that holds water.
Is she going after all the luxury homes that LeBron James owns? Beyonce & Jay-Z? Cher? ANY entertainer? They all live in massive properties WITH WALLS, and they pay property taxes-—commissions on the purchase or sale—jobs for security/maintenance/housecleaning/pest services/everything it takes to run a property like that.
I once rode a 50 mile endurance horse ride in the Malibu hills. We topped out onto a ridge & my fellow rider immediately was commenting negatively about the house right below us on the Malibu beach. She thought it was Criminal that ANYONE would be able to build that size of a house.
It happened to be Michael Landon’s new house-—before he passed away. He had 6 or 7 kids & a wife. The house was very nice...
But I spent quite a few minutes standing there explaining to her that Michael DID NOT build that house with his own 2 hands. MANY workmen & companies were involved. First-—the Architect—then Cement foundation-large parking area-paving on parking area & walls—carpenters—roofers—drywall hangars—painters—appliance makers—even the in house SPRINKLER SYSTEM that was in that house. She couldn’t understand how I knew whose house it was & that it had sprinklers-—
I KNEW because I did bookkeeping for that Sprinkler contractor & I had seen the house plans in his office & I knew he was in the middle of that job.
The permit fees & other taxes involved are also funds used by the county...
The envy & jealousy of politicians that involves the fact that a person who works HARD in their field CAN own anything at all is a true CANCER on this country.
Keep in mind that Warren & Harris & AOC are wanting a large tax on a person’s ASSETS——NOT on their NET WORTH.
You can own a $$$ 75 Million House-—but your mortgage can be $50 million. That would be a net worth on that item alone of $25 million——under the tax they all want to impose.
AND—WHO is doing the assessment of the items involved?
Any property can be assessed all over the map with value.
The Federal controlled Student Loans need to go back the the local banks Obama stole them from.
Whomever.
The banks would ensure that loaned funds got repaid, and that means loans for majors that have some chance of being economically useful.
However, the way the ed business has been so corrupted, that any "real" major would be subsidizing the "x" "Studies" departments.
