PREDICTION: Should Ruth Bader Ginsburg step down and Trump nominate Judge Amy Barrett ( a Catholic and a woman ) as her replacement, expect Hirono to lead the charge AGAINST her confirmation.
She'll do what it takes ( even fabricating false charges ) to see to it that Barrett does not get confirmed.
