So sick of people acting like there is any serious possibility of deporting 20-30 million illegals. It’s not going to happen. They forget Trumps proposal to accept DACA as citizens was a 10 year process, any thing they do wrong, boom they are out.

When the Supreme Court finally gets around to deciding that it is actually legal for The President to cancel an illegally instituted program, they will be even more naked.
Hopefully this will happen soon.
Personally I could live with this compromise should the other side decide to take it.
But normally the Democrats prefer political bludgeons to solutions.

As a POTUS supporter I don’t like him giving DACA for wall money.

Not worried. I trust Trump. He will make a good deal. He comes out looking better. Even with this apparent deal, he will magnificently point out the DEMON RATS didn’t even ask to help these human beings.

I agree. I think if he gets his wall money, he can claim a victory. Courts would probably force a DACA program anyway and if he can keep those numbers lower with specific requirements (no chain migration, etc.), the outcome would be better that a blanket amnesty deal.

They didn’t refuse to take the case. That would be an affirmative decline to hear it.
They didn’t put it on the full schedule for this year.
