According to the latest 2020 presidential poll, Joe Biden has 32 percent support among Democrats, while Hillary Clinton has 18 percent.

Those figures seem to represent less of an outburst of enthusiasm for Joe but instead a serious loss of support for Hillary. A large number of Hillary’s previous supporters have moved to Joe.

So what will Joe be deciding in the next two weeks?

If Hillary runs, Joe can’t win the presidency. Hillary will spend the entire primary season attacking Joe and taking huge amounts of Wall Street campaign donations away from him.

So, will Hillary run? Will Wall Street pledge $millions to Joe’s campaign before he announces his candidacy? Will Hillary preempt Joe from running by using her media friends to create a scandal exposing Joe as a molester of women? or children? or whatever it takes?

Why is Trump President?

He is President because about 70 000 Democrats in Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Ohio, who voted for Obama twice voted for him.

In 2020, let's say 16 000 of them have died and 54 000 of them - all white, many older, all working men and some women have to choose between Trump and Kamala Harris, Michelle Obama, Cory Booker, or Julian Castro and Trump - Trump goes back.

I say Biden gets all, or almost all, of those voters.

Mr. Biden would instantly be the early front-runner if he ran, but he would have to bridge divides in a primary that would test whether Democrats are willing to embrace a moderate white man in his 70s if they view him as the best bet to oust Mr. Trump.

This will be fun. He is the polling front runner so it's certain he will get in the race, given political ego would mandate it. The ONLY question will be if the anxious young socialists allow it and don't attack him for his age and color. The Dems are extremely good at party unity, but somehow my gut tells me the young wacko socialists are going to rebel as they want to be seen as revolutionaries, and revolutionaries don't support 70+ year old White men of any Party.
