It wasn’t a Blue Wave. They had a decent night. They are still way behind in Governorships, state legislatures, the Senate and so forth. The way things are panning out, with population growth and shifts, they may never take the Senate again.
A Wave is when you take over most of what’s up for grab. Like what the Republicans did in 1994, 2010 and 2014. They got one thing, the House by a less than 18 seat majority, in some very close races. They are disappointed I can assure you.

Democrats cheat in legal ways too. They redrew my Congressional District in western PA leaving me with no Republican to vote for - and another good Republican in a neighboring district lost his seat, Keith Rothfus, he could not compete in his redrawn district.

I voted at 4:30. Turnout was lighter than last time.

I’ll just say this, it was a Blue Wave, but it wasn’t a Blue Tsunami. That’s the best I can do.
I thought we would easily end up with a 55 Seat Majority in the Senate and only lose the House by a dozen Seats at most.
I was wrong.

Still not too bad given the fact the party in the White House loses seats.
Trump helped expand GOP control of the Senate and kept key statehouses in GOP hands.
He did a heckuva job but he couldn’t work miracles.
