Check posts 24-29....We were talking about Hitler “unifying” Europe...
Do you really think the British gave a hoot about the bloody frogs?
Well they certainly fought for them in WWI. Britain should have stayed out of it, and shored up their Empire. They needed a "Brexit" in 1914.
Hitler wanted the Japanese to invade Siberia.
But the Japanese had already had a couple of go-rounds with Soviets at Lake Khasan and Khalkhin Gol and did not want any more of that.
That freed up the Soviet forces in Siberia to fight the Germans and probably changed the outcome of WWII.
Yep, they went up against a General named "Zhukov".
The Euro Weenies are in a snit because Trump won’t let them suckle at the American teet anymore.
They’ve been getting rich at our expense. Enough! Time to wean and stand or fall on your own. America has done Enough for Europe!!
No, they fought to keep the Channel coast in neutral Belgian hands.
>> but had to jump in to maintain the neutrality of the channel coast. <<
I’m sure you’re being terribly unfair when you make it sound like Liebensraum.
It was the Brits who believed that there were no permanent friends, nor permanent enemies, only permanent interests.
