Thanks!
“Can anyone explain the rat bump in 2016, three days before the election?”
Souls to the polls. You will likely see a big jump for DEMs next Sunday, Nov 4th. Then REPs will clinch the win on Nov 6th.
Just for comparison’s sake you should probably use these numbers for today 10/28, as Orange County screwed up their upload.
VBM +65,145
EV +5,270 (not 10,531)
Total: +70,415
Up to you its your site! But the state feed was definitely lagging the county data pretty bad.
Yes, LS pointed that out.
I’ve always used the 7:15am report. I’d like to be consistent in that. Orange County’s numbers were in the 10:00am report.
The next day, the numbers catch up.
Real-time turnout so far this morning (from those counties where data available) is very positive.
Nice - Thanks !
What data is available for you determining this positive assessment for today?
According to the Florida election website, the count is Rs up by 55,391 which is comprised of following:
VBM: Rs + 63,771 (725,308 R v 661,537 D)
VE: Rs - 8,380 (433,462 R v 441,842 D)
The following data was added at 10:07 Palm Beach for both VBM and VE, Orange for VE. Gulf, which favors Rs, is the only county that has no data for VE. As LS notes, the Panhandle VE is understated and that should be made up for in the coming week.
(ballots cast, not counted) - IN-PROGRESS
Absentee Ballot - REPs lead by 65,084
In-Person Early Voting - DEMs lead by 6,038
Combined Early voting - REPs lead by 59,046
Great news!
Follow the Democratic twitter dude who keeps track of the counties continually updating (like every 10 minutes). These aren’t all the counties of course but many of them and many of them the big counties.
@dataflorida
Warn you - it’s a little addictive
Which county will be the first to go over 50% turnout?
My money is on Sumter.
42.77% turnout as of 1:20 pm today.
You may know another county Methos8 with slightly higher turnout...
