That’s a good point. Obamacare was passed through reconciliation so it’s a simple majority to repeal but the replacement would face a filibuster (since the Republicans wouldn’t have the chutzpah to pretend it’s a budget bill that can be passed through reconciliation). Unless they kept it in place as the ACA and gutted it and rebuilt it from within, in which case it would just be an alteration to the original bill and would avoid the filibuster. Or can they do that? I honestly don’t know.
If it happens, I’ll be thrilled (and surprised). We’re stuck with this crop of losers until the next round of primaries, because we have to vote against the totalitarian traitors in the democrat party. I’ll vote for the GOP, but in some cases i won’t enjoy it.
