I know. Do you think Portland liberal stations would have covered it? Also, none of the pro Trump meetup people went to the press....I guess THEY didn’t want any repercussions IF THEY ALSO OWN A BUSINESS.

I was an avid fan since the original and only store on H St NE ten years ago and ate at several Taylor's locations over the years. The food was great and priced right. The problem was that rapid overexpansion initially caused glitches like misinformation on the web site and a critical menu change (the bread supplier had formerly been the premier Italian bread bakery in Philadelphia,
Sarcone's, a costly-to-transport but essential ingredient, which they switched out for a DC local and probably non-authenically Italian bakery). Then, when stretched too thin in a fickle Democrat town, and with several of the locations being duds from no foot traffic, the Trump thing was simply the last straw, but not the real cause. The cause was the overexpansion and indebtedness to the venture capital firm. The food was delicious and the prices were fine.
