First of all, it’s not very likely ANY female psychologist or psychiatrist voted for Trump, those fields don’t attract conservative people.
Secondly, claiming a therapist stopped the session to start spouting her own political views is totally unbelievable.
I think the author had a bad dream and turned it into a column.

Good story, but false. No dopey medical professional would confess something like this.
Now, I will admit that I had a dentist for eight years who started up a chat about year two in the middle of a drilling job....that he was pro-Bill/Hillary Clinton. My blood pressure shot up quickly, but he was very good about pain control and it ended thirty minutes later. I decided to stick with him.

I felt again the precariousness of that pile of turtles. Red and blue falling, falling all the way down, hoping to reach solid ground.

IF this story is true (which is doubtful), then she just left one of the few shrinks who could help her with her TDS and no doubt many other mental ailments.

Only when there are direct aweful consequences will they be truthful. Can you jump off a 2 story building?? Can you walk blindfolded down a busy street??
But every other life situation they lie. It is shocking when you first see how they really are. It is Us vs Them. Anything goes that benefits their club.
