A resident of an Asian country once told me that Americans were racist because it took them over 200 years to elect a Black President.
I asked them if a Black President could ever be elected in their Asian country.
They shut up.
That is a good advertisement for Aspen.
“””Diversity, by contrast, is variety, differences, a subtraction of strengths until one reaches a lowest common denominator. Strength in diversity contradicts common sense as well as observation.”””
Well stated
I’d go back to Aspen in a heartbeat. Another fun thing is if you are a dog lover, I’ve never seen so many well behaved, designer dogs. Dogs everywhere (on leashes) but zero dog crap. Everyone seems very careful to clean up after their dogs. The place is pristine. The people are beautiful.
There is nothing that could get me to go back to Shitcago.
Neither of which are correct.
Gee why don't we let every state print money, or decide what gauge railroad tracks hey can lay. As a kid I remember we had 25 cycle electricity that was cool and diverse.
Same as my Mama’s response to me: “When they are overtired, give them a light spanking, a St. Joseph’s children’s aspirin, and put them to bed.” It worked every time.
Like most cult-like beliefs, multiculturalism relies on the willingness of people to say that 2+2=5 if Big Brother (i.e. big media, big government) say so.
Unfortunately, very few public figures are allowed to question the "Diversity is Strength" mantra by asking obvious questions, such as asking those making this claim to provide historical evidence in its favor, or to give a single example in society where cultural and social differences facilitate rather than impede things going forward. Because political correctness is a religion, all the facts in the world and standard for proof don't matter.
