I remember this story coming out during the election.
Everyone knew Clinton was laundering money through the state chapters to avoid limits.
The FEC said that they would investigate and have slow-walked it since (OK, they did nothing).
This is how it ALWAYS goes with Clinton scandals. We hear about it, ask for an investigation and nothing happens.
