When this whole episode is over, and I am not even saying if or when it’s ever going to be over, Sessions gonna be either the goat or the hero of the decade. Hardly any in between is conceivable.
As long as we think of "real" in alternative ways.

The reason why Sessions recused himself, and put Rosenstein in charge is so the American people can see all the corruption that's going on in the FBI/DOJ while Sessions and Trump are on the outside.
I've always said that Rosenstein is a white hat who was given a deal to appear to maintain notoriety so that he can clean up the Deep State.
If not, then he'll get prosecuted just like the rest of them are.
I have seen Trump fire literally dozens of people throughout his career. He would not hesitate to fire Sessions if he thought he wasn't doing his job. And don't give me this crap about Congress intervening or Rosenstein would be in charge.

Sorry, just do not see it. He has had numerous opportunities to make very damaging moves against the coup, but he protects them. Hoping this is all a ruse, and that some morning we’re going to see widespread arrests, reminds me of Hitler dreaming of a wonder weapon that will suddenly turn the war in his favor.

I don’t buy the argument that Sessions is working behind the scenes to bring justice to the criminals. I wish it was true but I don’t think it is. I never was a fan of Sessions but I thought he was at least a decent person who had integrity. Now I’m not so sure about that. A person with integrity would resign instead of allowing a bunch of criminals to attack his president. A god man wouldn’t do that. I hope he proves us wrong.
Sessions is exactly what he appears to be; an ineffectual, weak and probably treasonous tool of the deep state. Continue to delude yourself.
I don't think he's lacking integrity as much as he's lacking spine. He was a fine Senator and that was his lane of functionality.. and he should've stayed there.
