We are too divided to remain as a 50 state union There has to be a physical divide and a moving of people between areas. Sorry, it is pie in the sky Pollyanna-ish thinking(or non thinking) we can go on together in this feted union much longer.

Yes, if the elite few stopped fanning the flames to advance their agenda.
The "normal" people just want to be left alone, to have secure jobs, and to provide for their families.
It will take the "normal" people to oust the elites at the ballot box (as our politicians die off), and to stop supporting the businesses of the agenda-setters (like CNN, Facebook, the NFL, etc.).
We've been wandering in the desert for almost 40 years now, and the last of the blasphemous generation in Congress is about to pass.
