Wheres the outrage when police officers are killed?
Growing up and I remember the Chicago riots, a throw away gun was a Saturday night special. Lucky if it fired all 6 bullets.
yet chicagoans are silent about the 93% of blacks shot and murdered by other blacks.
please. the hypocrisy is thick.
Hard to say what happened here but "exhibiting the characteristics of an armed person," "saw a bulge that looked like a gun," "trying to make an escape," and finally "reached for the gun"...
All this seems to exhibit the characteristics of panicky b.s.
I agree that on paper, the Second Amendment even applies to Chicago. But, in practice, if police can murder you for “exhibiting the characteristics of an armed person” and aren’t punished for doing so, then the right only exists on paper. I will believe the right exists in a tangible form only if and when either the police leave armed people alone, or police officers who kill armed people for no other reason than that they are armed then face at least charges for deprivation of rights under color of law (resulting in death, a felony), if not outright murder. That day has not yet arrived, at least in Chicago.
