If he really supports him, he would resign so somebody that was capable of traveling to Washington and vote could be appointed to his Senate Seat. Can somebody explain to me the logic behind the fact that he hasn’t resigned yet?
President Bush AND McLame support this guy.
I’m starting to worry!
Have to think this news virtually guarantees Kavanaugh’s confirmation is a lock.
If Juan McCain is signalling THUMBS UP to Kavanaugh’s selection, how can Collins, Murkowski, his fellow AZ senator Flake, etc., not vote to confirm Kavanaugh???
How can any GOP senator not take this as a cue to approve Kavanaugh??
BTW, while Kavanaugh gives me some pause about his background with George W., one needs to bear in mind that any current tenured judge who would be under serious consideration by a republican president, logically would have been appointed by Bush 43. It just makes sense for purposes of compatible philosophy and age range. Others of the liberal bent, nominated by Clinton and Obama, are ineligible on their face. Moreover, any Trump-appointed jurists naturally have very limited time on the bench to be elevated so soon. President Trump now also has to replace Kavanaugh as well with another conservative judge.
Hard to muster up a thank you to McCain, but have to be grateful to him for perhaps paving the way for a smoother confirmation for both Brett Kavanaugh and President Trump!!!
Imagine a meter that goes higher with each mention of concern from feminine intuition. Imagine it going so high, that it breaks. ;-)
Hopefully this is a “message” to his fellow Rino’s to go ahead and confirm.
drugs?
Too bad his vote will be wasted.
If McCain wants Kavanaugh then I want someone else.
Then get your arse to DC and vote for him.
McCain has made many enemies here in AZ and its right in the middle of primary season.
He can’t afford to be his normal self right now as he is still trying to get his wife a Senate seat.
This means Kavenaugh must not be a good pick. If McCain likes him he must be a liberal.
That’s just his brain tumor talking.
No surprise. Republicans most always support SCOTUS nominees, from Republican and Dim presidents, too, unfortunately. When was the last time a Republican voted against a Republican president’s SCOTUS nominee? I don’t know.
It’s not McCain doing this. He’s either dead or a vegetable. But it’s scary there is handlers are happy with this pick.
cindy get his phone again??
Is there the slightest chance that he would be able to vote? Let’s “Weekend at Bernie’s” his old arse and drag him to DC to vote.
Meghan is the one tweeting unless they have live video.
Does this mean I he to worry about Kavanaugh.
