Nobody likes a turncoat or a songbird.
Hence the fall of McCain. History wont be kind to him.

He opposed Obamacare and Romneycare and socialized medicine for many years. And yet he voted against repealing it. His constituents were/are against Obamacare. He no longer reflects the values of his constituents. His state voted for Trump. I’m pretty sure he predicted Arizona would vote for Hillary, but he was wrong. He opposes the folks of his state.
Thank God he was not elected POTUS.

In 2008 McCain was literally Hitler in their minds, now he is loved since he hates Trump

Personal charm? I voted for the guy and have some satisfaction with his actions as a Senator but he is not known for that!

John McCain built a country that no longer reflects OUR values. That's the problem.
To: Trump20162020
And I believe that, regardless of his storied biography and personal charm, three powerful trends in American politics thwarted McCain's lifelong ambition to be president.
This belief is wrong. The reason McCain never became president is the same reason Mitt Romney never became president - they both ran as watered down Democrats instead of staking out strong conservative positions. There is very little reason for conservatives to flock to the Democrat-Lites the GOP establishment keeps trotting out. There is zero reason for Democrats to support them. The Democrat-Lite guys have decided they want to support the Democrat agenda, just at a slower pace - this is not an approach that appeals to anyone. McCain is lucky he got as many votes as he did.

Elizabeth Sherman: "...I am a scholar..." Actually, Lizzie; I'd say you are a Left-Wing partisan hack, and quite possibly a nitwit.
But thanks for playing.
