Giuliani made the comment when asked about fellow Trump lawyer Jay Sekulow's contradictory remarks on whether the President weighed in on a statement put out about his son Donald Trump Jr.'s controversial 2016 meeting with Russians at Trump Tower.

It is illogical and irrational to subpoena a sitting president. The precedent would result in endless demands and subpoenas of sitting presidents. If the tables were turned you would be told this over and over again by the MSM, PBS panel discussions, journal articles, erudite professors, etc.

That would NEVER happen with a Democrat. This angry cabal of Democrats are taking advantage of the gentle and weak-wristed eRepublicans, by keeping themselves in the limelight with nit-picking concerns about collusion and how something was or was not said.

It is nice to see the Republicans like Rudy show what Manning up is all about.

All the Mueller team has accomplished is spending money, keeping the never Trumpers and Trump haters appeased.

Enough of that! We all have better ways to spend our time. I am surprised and disappointed that so many Republicans let this happen at all; they look weak and foolish.

Testimony given by a defendant to a prosecutor or law enforcement can only be used against the defendant and not in the defense of a defendant.

Trump in not under investigation and has not been charged with a violation or crime, but you can be certain that Mueller would use any statement by a Trump against him.

Giuliani’s mouth gets ahead of his brain...it’ll get him in trouble.

I love it - saying what we all know - as time goes by and other events intervene, we may not always say the exact same words when describing a past set of events...bump anything a year and more old against a transcript and you will have “lied and/or misled” ....

Why are they asking Trump to testify.. “He’s not the target”. They have one goal and it is to destroy Trump, and with that, he must NOT put himself in a seat for them to get to him to set him up via trickery and lies.

Cleary, Rudy’s “job” is to muddy the waters and obfuscate as they don’t want Mueller and the media defining the agenda and getting any traction.

When are we going to start insisting Clinton be investigated?
