This is a middle-class wallet issue.
I don't know what can or should be done but if gas prices keep rising, Democrats will exploit this issue to their advantage.

Ah yes, the Democrats, party of affordable gas prices, lol.
Do they even listen to themselves? Apparently not.

Horse pellets. How, exactly, would RATS do that?

Gas prices were already high when Trump pulled the plug on Iran deal.

Where was Schumer during the Obame admin when we were paying more for gas for years and years?

Schumer? What a piece of evil.
According to energy analysts and experts, President Trumps reckless decision to pull out of the Iran deal has led to higher oil prices,
Unnamed analysts and experts again? Oil is fungible. Iran is still shipping to China.
What is in Schumer's closet?

Plus they are running up the price per gallon as we get closer to Memorial Day

One must might be a special kind of stupid to think this won’t be a major issue with the average household this vacation season leading into the midterms. Trump would be smart to address it now (e.g., cause, affect and remedy) rather than play catch-up later.

It’s more the result of tax increases at the State level. And of course, the Blue States have it the worst.

Shouldn't this issue resonate the most in CA, where gas prices are a buck higher than anywhere else, precisely because of Dem policies?

Chuckie, it is called Supply and Demand. If you are in a booming economy and people would like to vacation someplace besides their house, they'll be driving their car to get there and when there, they might go boating, which unless you have a sailboat (and a politician to help you use the boat with their hot air), you'll need gas for the engines. Also, due to mandates (.no liberals, that is not two gays dating) we need to have a summer blend which is more expensive than winter blend.
Now, Chuckie, you got that? Should I get ConservaTeen to explain it?

Why? Everytime the consumer gets a break, the politicians raise the taxes. To put in bike lanes and walking trails.
