Anyone with a brain and without an agenda knew exactly what he meant the first time he said it.
This black man knew exactly what he was saying. In fact, it’s been stated before by myself another others in the past.
Fredrick Douglass, William E.B DuBois, etc.
There have even been other rappers that have put it into their songs.
But these are the voices that usually get drown out by the noise, or in some cases out right threatened. (e.g. Chance the Rapper).
My advice to Mr. West: double your security, and make sure you are not alone with any woman other than you wife.
With all that in mind: When they come for him, she’ll either be the target or the catalyst.

Wow, if Kanye had only said that much, he would have DESTROYED everything the Democrats claim about Trump, and Republicans as a whole.
...but he said much more, obviously.
He meant the slaves should have risen up and overthrown their oppressors. They didn’t, leading him to say that they remained slaves by choice.
I can almost guarantee that he read Booker T. Washington’s book, “Up From Slavery” - a read that should be mandatory for ALL people.
To paraphrase, West can make his own reality but he can't make his own facts.
