MAGA!!! Perhaps we can now begin to break the Cultural Marxist's grip on the minds of our children. While it will probably take decades to begin turning out kids who can THINK CRITICALLY, this is a good start! When the socialists at the AFT get wind of this, they'll launch a FULL COURT PRESS against every anti-INDOCTRINATION/PRO ACTUAL "EDUCATION" conservative candidate in 2018 and beyond. Brace...brace...brace!
This is a crisis we'd better get a handle on before it's too late -- if it isn't already!

Thank You Greatly, President Trump.

Great! Of course, the Dept of Ed should be disbanded, as Reagan promised but did not do. I think if DJT is re-elected, we will see him do this (and a whole lot more) in his second term.

Trump is giving Education Secretary Betsy DeVos just short of a year 300 days to identify areas where Washington has overstepped its legal authority in education, and modify and repeal regulations and guidance from her department, if necessary.
*********************************
‘Bout time.
Return education to the states, the feds running things ie education is unconstitutional.
That should fix the dumbing down of our children

Just abolish the federal control, not limit it

I can save everyone a lot of time and state definitively that wherever Washington has any involvement in education at all, it has overstepped its legal authority.
The Constitution simply does not delegate this power to the feds. All federal activity in this area is unlawful.

A great many school districts need direct federal funding to comply with mandates.
Special needs classes can eat up a small schools budget very quickly.
Still, I support this move.
