Not sure about that. Kill a deer, that's a different thing. Anecdotally, there's no question in my mind that the deer population in central WI, Adams Co area, has declined over the last couple decades. DNR figures aside. Though that's just what my eyes see, and what others observe. And we're all old, maybe our eyes are going.

our deer population has really declined in the last several years but NOT the tick population.

As I noted in an earlier post, think rodents and birds. Heck, they obviously hitch rides on humans. The ticks will outlive the deer, mobile cockroaches
