GW Bush pushed Israel to turn over Gaza to the Palestinans; I lay all the subsequent horror at his door. Before the turnover, Gaza had farms, greenhouses, businesses, clean streets and a productive population. Now, if you stand on a hill over the Gaza border, all you see is a dark dump. Ironically, Israel has a huge power plant that supplies electricity to Gaza for free - and the Palestinians constantly attack it.
