What could possibly go wrong?
“As far as I’m concerned, it’s one of the worst acts of betrayal in U.S. history.”
This ^^^ At a time when America’s survival is hanging by a thread, Jeff Sessions stabs her in the back.
So, who can charge Jeff Sessions with Contempt of Congress for ignoring the deadline, the DOJ?
Rep. Ron DeSantis: I think what we have to do is use Congresss inherent contempt authority that was done for 175 years. You have to bring them into Congress. You have a vote on the contempt and then you detain them. Just as if you were in contempt of court, the judge would detain you. And theyre detained until they comply. And here is what I predict, if they were put in the House jail for contempt of Congress wed have the documents within 24 hours.
It's time they quit talking about it and drop the hammer
“Sundunce has a DOJ source that’s leading him astray...”
I’ve noticed that a lot amongst the twitter attention whores and drama queens.
“My sources tell me...blah blah blah” It turns out that most of these ‘sources’ are coming from the voices in their own heads. IOW, they’re FOS.
“Why arent people fired? Why havent federal marshals been directed to go in and get the documents?”
Do you really think Congress should get whatever they ask for? Do you trust Congress? The two parties are talking, and I’m confident they will reach a reasonable settlement. Maybe I shouldn’t be...
That was great...now I’ll see Granny every time I see Sessions...
“Do you trust Congress?”
More than the DOJ at this point in the game. Nunes, DeSantis, Grassley, Jordan, Gaetz, etc are a handful of congressmen that seem sincere in their efforts to get to the bottom of this massive treason conspiracy.
Yes.
What is your concern?
The DOJ is still being run by the Deep State.
The Deep State already controls the documents in question. They can already leak the contents of those documents, whether they let Congress look at the docs or not.
Have no fear. They hired Lois Lerner to manage all their electronic communications.
They are scoundrels, and worse. OK I get that it is a lot of stuff they need to compile, but they couldn’t turn over even 1 of 1.2 million pieces?
If they blew off the deadline and handed none of the 1.2 million documents over, it should be taken as bad faith and Congress should slap them for it. How about, cut their IT budget by 50% next year, and if that doesn’t work threaten to make a law giving custodianship of DOJ electronic archives to a different agency. If the DOJ and FBI have been used in conspiracy against the people of the country, and obstruction of justice, and election tampering, and foreign bribery etc, then frankly I think they should lose custody over their communications - assign a “special prosecutor” to group a couple dozen respected patriots to keep an eagle eye on their activities for the next 20 years. Make sure their actions are always honest in intent.
(Perhaps, we should just shut them down, or cut them down to 10%-20% size and limit their mandate to interstate violent crimes. Why do we need 17 different spy agencies?)

I’m fine with a small number of Congresscritters having all the information. But if Congress gets it, so will a lot of bad actors, especially democrats. Maybe some of them are culpable in the scandals or related matters. Maybe some are under investigation.
For now, I’m content with DoJ woking with Congress to ensure their constitutional reaquirements are met but without jeopardizing any ongoing investigations.
This situation perfectly illustrates one of the fundamental reasons for the Deep State psyops known as Q. Namely, every shred of empirical evidence indicates that Sessions is aiding and abetting the Deep State coverup/attempted coup. The only counterpoint is Q’s repeated admonition to TRUST SESSIONS and trust the plan.
Iow, Q’s purpose is to train believers to trust the verbal assurances of the Deep State over and above the clear evidence of their own eyes. It is a brilliant psyops, and amazingly effective.
There are a lot of bad actors at the DOJ. Bad actors will get the docs regardless.
Release the docs. Meet the Constitutional requirements. There's a reason why it's Constitutionally required. The small number of good Congress critters will make sure that the DOJ and FBI crimes aren't hidden from the people of this country.
Anyone who serves at the pleasure of the president should be fired for not turning over documents to congress.
Start putting people in jail, then.
This is really great news, it means there is an ongoing GJ FBI investigation and they are not going to give the leaker’s in congress the information to spill out and damage their investgation
Very true, but the potholes here dont get that.
Lock them up
Those pukes who refuse to turn over supoened material should be held in contempt and thrown in a high security shithole prison until they comply.
Waaay past time to quit playing footsies with these vermin.
If that is true, then the Bush CIA is involved to watch their butts. The Bushes and Clintons will never walk away. There are generations of corruption to profit from easy government money.
