Like many of you, I hate this bill. It goes against every principle of disciplined good government.
Using a term from West point’s Cadet prayer, Trump decided to “choose the harder right, than the easier wrong. I think he did the best he could given the trap the dems and never-trumpets set for him.
Our military is critical to our defense, and his highest priority. Let’s not blame him for this horrible bill that landed on his desk. These idiots in congress were holding our nation’s soldiers, sailors, Maries, etc, hostage just to score political points against Trump.
Don’t get mad at Trump, get mad at the perpetrators in Congress.
Get you ass going!!
Trump’s Budget had a 3.5 Billion cut to Dept of Ed. This bill had a 4.5 Billion increase to Dept of Ed.
The primary blame is on Fake Repub Paul Ryan and Ditch McConnell, who refuses to do away with the filbuster rule.
F them both.
This is a loss. Rant and get over it - if we don’t stay in the game, we will be doomed. Toughen up Paulie Boy.
We have tax cuts, we have Gorsuch and maybe 1-2 more SC Justices that will make it all worth it.
Not on this forum you won't
No gloating, just frustrated. Theres a number of folks here that believe all Trump does is planned and traps for the competition.
The GOPe is handing us crap because they don't work for us; they work for their owners. Regardless of what happens in Nov. they will do the same.
Trump had a chance to be different, but this surrender was a telling blow that has weakened him, perhaps permanently.
Keep voting for them, sure, they'll respect you in the morning.
