Let me rephrase: is yelling at melevolent, scum-sucking communists whether they are malevolent, scum-sucking communists wrong. That’s doing unto others in my book because if I were a communist I would deserve at the very least to be called out on it if I were honest with myself at all.
I can envision a prison cell with Comey’s name on it.

Yeah, to “honor him,” they could attach a little metal plate to the door saying: “James Comey, Crooked Former FBI Director spent twenty years here!”

Definitely starting to wilt, here. Few things in the end ever live up to this unsustainable measure of breathless hype and constant production.
If you are interested in a major book on Sen. Joe McCarthy, read “Blacklisted By History: The Untold Story of Senator Joe McCarthy and His Fight Against America’s Enemies”, by M. Stanton Evans, and old journalist friend of mine, Three Rivers Press, NY, 2007.
I helped Stan on one issue, namely explaining some of the State Department lists that had Soviet spies listed on them. A couple in question were compilations of those individuals and their jobs/agencies they worked for during WW2, not in the later years. A minor point but an important one in the effort to find the real reds in the State Department in the 50’s.
Stan and Herbert Romerstein also wrote the powerful “Stalin’s Secret Agents” about Americans who aided the Soviet cause in the US government, media, etc.
He worked at least 10 years on the McCarthy book which is heavily footnoted and has some documents to look it.
I highly recommend it.
Joe McCarthy was a bastard but he was aiming in the right direction, but his investigations, aided by legal beagle Roy Cohen, hit their targets head-on.
This book will destroy a lot of leftist/liberal/communist myths about the man and his operations in the Senate. That is what is important to know.
McCarthy was late to the party.
This was more than “yelling at.”
It’s a perennial problem. God says do not run past Him. And it’s never your book. It’s always His.
Seems to me Coney is the one acting like a ‘McCarthy ‘ with the Russia crap.
We had a “Jackass Lane” in Anchorage. Maybe they were prescient when naming that street, knowing Comey would appear years later.

The “obstructionists” are seeking more time to prepare their own “memo” which, when finished will appear a memo from another country altogether and having no similarities to the FISA document. “We needs more time to review these accusations”, more time I tell you, more time!”

All the rats are jockeying to find a “get out of jail” card. They figure if they raise hell, the Administration will just ask them to shut up and forget about prosecution. They are wrong on that though, I hope. At the least they will confuse future jury members into hung juries.
