POOH! None of the WKRP you tubes are working right now!

Turkey could fly was my favorite episode. The other one was they were going to show that drinking slows response time but Johnny’s get getting better the more sloshed he got! Heck, I liked all of them. Wonderful show.

“Larry Carlton is/was one of the GREAT guitarists of our time - “

Agreed! I think I first became aware of his playing on some of Michael Franks’ songs. His first two albums (”Larry Carlton” and “Strikes Twice”) blew me away. Just about any time I play, there’s a “what would Larry do?” inclination, even if it’s largely subconscious. Not that I can do what Larry would do of course, but it does serve as a kind of stylistic compass heading.

LOL!

Earlier today, I was playing Michael Franks’ album “The Art of Tea” w/”Popsicle Toes” that featured LC, John Guerin, Joe Sample and others. GREAT album and LC played some very tasty riffs!

I saw Michael Franks a number of years ago at our local jazz club - great show in a small venue.

Haha - small world! Yeah, “The Art Of Tea” was fine. Never saw Franks live but sure would have liked to.
