What Trump did today was put an end to the “He’s mentally deranged” nonsense..he wanted to show everyone that he is smart and he knows how to deal with cockroaches(Democrats)..if this had been a closed door hearing the Dems would have come out and lied about what was said..this way no one can lie we all heard it live on TV

Me too. That was a masterful move that accomplished many things: Backed the demos into a corner, publicized some very good arguments for his plans, and showed himself to be very sane and in charge. I listened to a few minutes Hannity broadcast while I was driving home. Heard Trump say that he would insist on the word “merit” being a part of any immigration reform including DACA. Did anyone else catch this? That could really limit even Dreamer legalization!

He sure did. There was not ONE question today in the daily press briefing about Trumps mental health or the stupid book that the media has been obsessed with. All questions were on some aspect of Trump's policies..most asked snottily of course.
The thing is when the dims were in control they did nothing to make DACA a law, even though they had made promises to their voters. I assumed even with the dims there was not enough support, and that is why O did his temporary fix with his pen.
We will see how this goes. Anyone that is here illegally and for any reason is allowed to stay needs to be vetted carefully. Many slipped through that were not eligible; many are not upstanding students who might be candidates for citizens. Many are criminals and gang members that signed up to get a free pass against deportation. Many did not renew their paperwork as required or follow other rules of the program.
Dana and John starting to think about where their next job is gonna come from, after CNN gets sold to Murdock ;-) Maybe sounding like the only sane people in a nuthouse will be a good strategy.
