Now here's the part I can't get my head around - the idea that there's a "Committee to Protect Journalists".

If a "Committee to Protect Journalists" needs to exist, then it's because Journalists are being threatened or oppressed, right?

Where was this committee when Journalists were being censored on college campuses, violently protested, even threatened with physical harm if they spoke publicly? Not a peep.

So is the committee just protecting "some" journalists and not others? Which ones? How do you merit protection from this committee?
