Whatever their gripes they know that THIS American president has their backs.

What does that mean?

Where do you get the idea that I don’t think Trump
understands?

It means that the current US president sides with the
Iranian protesters against their government unlike
the previous US president who left them twisting in
2009 when they protested against their government.

He sides with them, sure. But that’s where it ends. No more Bush bull shit 10 year long compassionate wars in the Mid east costing multiple trillions in American treasure. Not happening.

I suggest those people over there start killing their oppressors en-mass.

Did you even bother reading the article in question?
Did I suggest that Trump should commit US troops to
overthrow the Iranian government? Damn...

And what did you want the previous U.S. presidents to do?

It would be nice for Obama to have spoken out in
support of those Iranian citizens who oppose their
radical Islamic government.

If you are looking for me to advocate sending troops to
fight Iran then you are wasting your time. However, if
the US and other countries let the Iranian dissidents
know that if THEY OVERTHROW THEIR RADICAL WEST HATING
GOVERNMENT then we could be willing to talk and work
with them regarding joining the family of nations.
Got a problem with that, do you?

I see, so you don’t want any presidents to actually do anything regarding this Iranian protest but give lip service and moral support.

Got it.

You don’t “got” shit! If you are trying to pick a cyber
fight with me then you picked the wrong poster. You are
way out in the weeds on this. You posted that the US
should not get involved in Mideast wars ala George Bush
and I rather agree with that. But unlike the author of
the article I like the fact that Trump gives vocal support
to the Iranian protesters. You know who agrees with me?
John Bolton. You know who disagrees? Susan Rice.
Now, what goes on behind the scenes (i.e. authorized $
from US to Iranian dissidents) is something I could/
might support.

So, the question is what policy would you support?

Ya said it yourself, you don’t want any presidents to actually do anything regarding this Iranian protests but give lip service and moral support.

Your words not mine.

Good. Then I kindly ask you to read (or re-read)
my original post (#50) on this thread. If you are
perceptive then you see that I was defending Trump
from the scurrilous article and if you are the good
and honest fellow California conservative as I hope
you are then you would let me know via post that the
two of us are in agreement and have been from my
original post #50. And, that is all I ask.

The people are angry with their government and they have common cause with our President. Whatever their gripes they know that THIS American president has their backs.

Look, it's been revealed the United States was literally taken over by a shadow government who's been entrenched prior to Trump for decades They have been operating outside the law and they're literally attempting to illegally frame, undermine and compromise a presidential candidate and now the President of the United States. At the same time we find even the American media is complicit up to their necks.

Point is, America is going through a bigger historic revolution of it's own and right here, right now. So far it's relatively peaceful but that could all change if they attempt to overthrow this President. America has it's hands full, including dealing with psychos threatening the U.S. with nukes.

Bottom line Iran is way down on my radar. Again, if they don't like their oppressors THEY need to stand up for themselves and start killing them en-mass. It's that simple.

It isn’t that your concerns are not valid but don’t
you think that Trump knew he would have to walk and
chew gum at the same time when he took the job?

Here we have the world’s number one supporter of
terrorism nation which is close to developing nukes.
This rogue and murderous nation is going thru internal
upheaval and our world class provoker president is
supposed to bypass the opportunity to throw some
timely shade on the evil mullahs who run Iran?
I don’t believe that and I don’t think you believe
it either. In my book taking vocal shots in support
of Iranians who want to change their government is,
if anything, a nice big swipe at Obama and his deep
state. In 2009 Obama made nice with the Iranian
rulers while ignoring the protesting masses so he
could get his phony nuke treaty through. Our
current president insults the stupid treaty and
gives a thumbs up to the Persian protesters of
today. I’d say that is a pretty good shot across
the deep state bow. You don’t agree? I would say
we are getting good work done....on the cheap, too!
