And in this day and age a wolf whistle or even just saying “you look great in that dress” can be construed as “sexual harassment”. Oy.
Speaking of wolf whistles by today's standards this guy would be put under the prison.

I might be politically incorrect here, but I think that women who dress revealingly, sensually, or even beautifully invite a 2nd and 3rd look.

Human females are designed beautiful by God and that attractiveness absolutely gets a male’s attention. In one reading of the bible, they were so attractive they caused angels to fall.

So, I think it’s counter nature to expect not to be noticed.

There are also unscrupulous males out there, so the attractiveness gets noticed by them, too. Is it wisdom for women to be cautious about when, where, and with whom they are vulnerable? Yes, of course.

Back in the 90s I sent a woman home because when she bent forward you could see her panties.

I figured that was the line. If I can guess what color panties you were wearing on the first try, then the day was coming there wouldn’t be any panties.

I worked in a bank long ago (Kennedy was president). I came to work my first day with a slightly off white color shirt. I got exactly 50 feet inside the door when the Ex VP stopped me and asked if I was a communist! I said, no of course not. He said the men here wear white shirts. I countered that the light pastels were making their way into the workplace to which he said perhaps, but not here. He continued: there is a mens shop across the street, they open at 10 Go get a white shirt. Oh, BTW that counts as your lunch break.

I never saw any of the women dressed in slut attire and given my first day experience I could understand why.

Who is the victim here? She chose what she was going to wear.

f’n morons.
In nature prior to mating there are rituals, invites to find a mate... and it’s two sided...sometimes these signals are misinterpreted, sometimes they attract the wrong prey, or prey with issues..... and outside interpretation can be taken out of context lol ... just saying...

Marcy is usually a blabbering idiot but, if one takes the full context of her comments into account, makes, for her, unusually good sense.

Heck - Even a blind pig will root up an acorn now and then.

The House needs a dress code and so do public indoctrination centers (schools).

I have said on many occasions, society here began slipping when dress codes slipped in public schools. It was the beginning of the inmates running the asylum we have. Society must have standards IMO.

I graduated public high school in 63. We had a dress code. My private college had a dress code: jackets and ties.

I visited my high school in the early 70s. It looked like a vagabond convention. No wonder their academic rating slipped.

Yes, it does. There’s no dispute that if we dress ‘provocatively ‘—whatever that may mean, we should expect men to notice. That’s rather the point. Compliments can be given without being disrespectful, although HR doesn’t think so.

Men may be surprised to learn that we women even compliment each other.

I’ve been on the receiving end of more sexual harassment on the job back in the day than I care to remember. I dressed as conservatively as possible in self defense. It didn’t matter.

I also like to believe that most non Muslim men have sufficient impulse control not to be driven into a lust driven frenzy at the sight of an attractive woman showing a little leg or cleavage.

One can only speculate as to why men notice what color panties women are wearing.

Most well dressed women know that foundations should never be visible under clothes, including where they start and stop.

With respect to that issue, sometimes it’s just poor taste or carelessness, rather than an advertisement.

Some women haven’t figured out that unless you have a really good figure, you should not attempt to wear the “bodycon” trend.

Wearing sexualized clothing only objectifies women

Men should start going to HR to complain of sexual harassment because of woman exposing themselves in the workplace.

“are you sating tha clothing syles have go back to the victorian era>”

OMG! A while back, my (now ex) girlfriend and I were out on the porch with the dogs. Not expecting anyone, we were dressed “comfortably”. When a friend stopped by I asked her to button ONE more button on her blouse as her bra was showing. Later I was accused if wanting to put her back in a lace collar and lock her in the house. Very typical liberal hyperbole.

Well, hoping that this would not invite harassment.

> Who is the victim here? She chose what she was going to wear. <

Let’s say a guy always wanted an expensive sports car. So he buys one, then parks it in a bad part of town. The car gets stolen. That guy sure was stupid. But he is still a victim.

Same goes with a woman who wears revealing clothing. That’s often a stupid thing to do. But if she’s then sexually harassed, she’s still a victim.

And I’m using the term “sexual harassment” narrowly here. Saying vulgar things to that woman is sexual harassment. So is touching her without her permission.

But saying “nice outfit” or “you look pretty” is not harassment. But the PC types would say that it is.

“Okay, does cleavage to the floor actually invite harassment?”

Yeah, if the cleavage goes all the way to the floor I’m pretty sure nobody wants to see it. Except maybe Laz.

Absolutely true. Just like walking around in the savanna with a hunk of beef on your shoulders is not a good idea.

I dunno about “inviting sexual harassment” but a woman who’s dressed up to look “hot” should reasonably expect that people are going to notice and likely comment on it.

If you're out on a date and the woman you're with looks hot, fine say so.

Women who dress provocatively in the workplace these days need to get reported to HR. Face facts, men need to protect themselves. It's far more likely a woman dressing provocatively in the workplace these days is really looking for trouble (and a big paycheck/payoff as a result) than it is "ignorance" that they don't know they're dressing like that.

It's time to turn the tables, men. Report 'em.
