She’s writing about other people, I think. Whether or not those people actually exist, I cannot say.

no kidding.
I was confused when I got my first social security statement saying I had earned enough credits to be eligible (39 quarters) about a week after I turned 24.

When I was 26 years old I had obtained my degree in Geology, also worked several years in the oilfields and paid my own damn bills. I paid for my education also, all of it!
Suck it up you damn wimps! Get a job and get off your ass.

boo frickin’ hoo.
Obama told us tons of choices would be available because of the great economy he was creating and the wonderful Obamacare law he signed into our lives.
Now there is a CHALLENGE? Aw, my heart doesn’t break.

We have good jobs at our company right now that we have difficulty filling. We live in affluent community and there are “Hiring” signs in so many stores it’s crazy.

If Hillary had won, she would have raised it to 35 I bet.

How many of the jobs can be filled by a Medieval French Poetry BA and a graduate degree in Rural Women’s Studies with a thesis on problems for women related to corn harvests for ethanol production ?

Maybe she and other 26 year olds should ask all those pontificating “professors” which one would be best for them since those “professors” seem to know so much about everything.

Re: Ridley then connected with a broker who signed her up for a silver plan that will cost her less than $4 per month, after receiving a premium subsidy of more than $500 a month.
This is why deductibles and premiums are so high.

Oh yeah, but you get that FREE health checkup and all the birth control pills you want. Whoopie!
The kids were supposed to be the cash cows to protect the chronically sick, the druggies, the winos and the sex change operations. They just won't buy these wonderful plans. < / sarcasm >

“All three examples this writer gave, found their policies and signed up with little trouble.
So the gist of this article is....what ?”
Well my guess is that the gist is that it isn’t free. I’m not sure why they didn’t just come out and say it.

Can you imagine these overgrown children at, say, D-Day, or the siege of Bastogne?
You'd be surprised what 14 weeks of basic training can accomplish. And there is always the option of a setback in training if that is not enough. I say we re-institute the draft, or better yet everybody must serve two years at age 18.

a silver plan that will cost her less than $4 per month, after receiving a premium subsidy of more than $500 a month. So We the People (who work) are paying for her medical insurance. She won't even give us the courtesy of a reach-around.

Go to youtube and type “Gotta Love Millennials”.
It’s a real hoot. And “Royals” by Lorde is the Millennials’ national anthem.
“Poor underemployed us”
