He does not bear close scrutiny well at all. The “creepy” brush will be applied...Yep. The Dems smell blood in the water and think there might be something there. Fortunately for Cruz, he was scrutinized pretty thoroughly during his presidential run.
I’d be skeptical of someone coming out of the woodwork now.

I feel the same, though I can’t vote there. If he survived the primary - which is probable - I’d have to hold my nose and vote for him as well. Closet neocon though he may be. 2016 revealed a lot about him. I don’t think he is the risk that he was prior to that.

Half of Alabama Republicans stayed home. Donks had a 90 percent turnout. You have the Republican party leadership all but certifying Moore as a child molesting rapist, and a large chunk of his previous support "staying home" is a given.
Moore was knifed in the front by Democrats, and knifed again in the back by Republicans.

It’s gonna be a while before democrats do well in Texas. Ted Cruz is very popular and they are dilerious if they think they have a shot....this ain’t Alabama!!! Get some women to claim he is a child molesting rapist and he is done. The party will simply embrace those accusations, cut funding, and urge everyone to vote for the Democrat or sit out the election.
