He mystifies me. From all accounts he is as righteous as they come, but he acts like someone being blackmailed. He reminds me of Sergeant Schultz. Actually, FBI director Wray acts like that too.

Sessions, Wray, etc. are like Jeff Flake, or at least what Jeff Flake - self righteous, overly dignified, and willing to concede to criminal liberals if the criminal liberals can out flank them with clever double talk. They picture themselves as gods up on Mount Olympus, chatting amongst one another, making jokes at the pitiful humans down below, suffering through the wars they have created for us. They see Trump as only a half god, and half human, wrecking their plans in the mold of Perseus.

after the way Jim Jordan treated FBI Director Wray this week, I just assumed that that IG report is going to have some pretty damning stuff in it.

It might, but unless Jordan and the rest of the oversight committees get the special counsel appointed to investigate, as they've requested, I don't expect anyone at DoJ to ever be charged criminally. It would reflect too poorly on them for ever letting it happen in the first place, so their goal will be to make it all just go away, with no permanent record like convictions.

Good post. This is a possible outcome. Mueller & gang pack this up quickly, call a truce & get out of town. There has been scuttlebutt that Mueller’s team & Trump lawyers have been in constant contact....and Trumps team keeps saying that this is going to end soon.

IIRC, was it not begun by EO?? Then by EO is could be (and should) be UNDONE.

The link provided only indicates, to me, mere tweaking than “correcting”.

Though I do enjoy his seemingly finger-in-the-eye vs. govt/Leftists, IMO, he hasn’t seemed to go for the jugular/quick kill (EG: rolling back SOME EOs, rules\regs...not whole dept\tomes)
