Do you understand the level of vagueness in the phrase “was no contact with the Russians?” Therefore can’t be shown to be a lie.

You believe “contact” and “communications” are two different things? You’re in denial. Sophistry and semantics won’t save those who want to deny that there has been a lot of lying about the contacts/communications. Trump never argued, as you do, that there was communications. You’re using an invented ex post facto explanation. You’re rationalizing blatant lies.
I think you don’t lean toward the prosecutorial in and of itself.
You lean toward the politics of the prosecutorial side, which sometimes goes against the ethics of prosecution. Therefore, you’re in fact opposed to the prosecutorial side.

I would ask that you take some time to investigate and learn about how politics affects the legal process.
You have the right to hold biased views against President Trump.
But when you fail to admit it to yourself or to others, it makes it seem like maybe you don’t understand what’s going on.
Basic honesty isn’t that unusual. We expect it from our family and friends and are right to expect it in our presidents. Blatant lying is unacceptable under any ethical system. The problem isn’t Never Trumpers. It’s Trump’s mistakes and bad judgment. You can vent about those who feared his fickle and mercurial nature, his sudden coversion to conservatism, his scorched earth approach to those who fail to praise him, his fawning over Putin. Whatever pickle Trump is in now is of his own making though.
I’m biased for conservatism. If that’s incompatible with President Trump, that’s not my fault.

Those are two legally separate notions. Maybe to you they are irrelevant but we’re not concerned about your sophistries. Secondly, you state he lied. That’s a heavy accusation. You have not answered the question: How do you know, granted even your premise of his denial, that others did not tell him the truth about their communications/contact? The fact is you don’t. So just fess up and stop inventing ways to impugn President Trump.
