A couple yrs. ago I was flying from RDU to DEN. Got stuck overnight in CLT because of thunderstorms delayed my flight and missed the connection.
Anyway the agent routed me thru ORD .
When I went to board the connecting flight in Chicago the gate agent looked at the pass and announced the row I was supposed to sit did not exist on that plane! Later I checked the seat plan on that aircraft and she was correct no row 13 (I think)
Had to go to the Kiosk and try to get a valid seat.
The last seat was between me and a guy who 'had' to be on that flight and started cursing at the agent.
I got the seat.
My momma drummed into me, "You can catch more flies with honey than vinegar". Always try that first even when I'm seething inside.
That white male aggression is the worst. /s
That is ridiculous; the black female co-workers had many more issues with white & Hispanic women than black men. Many interracial couples I’ve seen are black guy/white woman, and if there isn’t attraction the other way that may actually contribute to easier work relationships.
He’s just threatened by ‘strong, black women.’
So let's see...you can get to the airport and "change" your seat on a kiosk? Was someone else already assigned that seat?
