It is my sincere hope that Roger Goodell is dethroned by this issue. He is not doing what his position calls for.
The NFL could use one of the bankruptcy laws given the huge decline in ratings and the high players contracts.Then sit down with the players union and ask how do we get our ratings back now that your players want to add political protest into what should be a football game.
Alternatively they could rename themselves into the World Football League and redesign their emblem to take out stars and red, white and blue since it is obvious they stand for nothing American. Maybe a red and yellow emblem with a communist fist somewhere would be more apropos.
Maybe if they tested for illicit drugs and performance enhancing drugs before every game and published the results each week. Then I would at least know who is walking the talk vs. talking the talk. It might make the game more interesting at this point. Imagine half a team getting caught on cycle? I would tune in for that.
I think they are indeed going to be worthless because if they go down to a certain level, say 50%, there are very few billionaires around to pay a bunch of black employees who REALLY control the NFL.
So, the deal breaker for people like Jerry Jones is they have lost control of 1,800 America hating black men!
That’s what investors will see.
NFL games will go the way of urban shopping malls. As fewer normals attend, the proportion of thugs will go up, which will drive more normals away . . .

You aren’t going to replace fans with the same economic status. Even if you lower prices and fill the stadium with hoodlums, you’ll be driving away more of the paying fans.

I am so happy to hear this. They truly deserve what they will get.
I tutored football players at Texas A&M and from that experience I have chosen to have nothing to do with football. This kneeling crap is not surprising. I think the players should be deported to Libya. All if then. They clearly don’t like being Americans.
Hating America is not going to help you play football, son.
This is like the Target Boycott - it picks up many people that may not even be political but they are simply disgusted and turn away.
Looks like they decided they have enough money to wait us us out - I’m done with them forever.
Goodell and the players should stick their heads in their rear ends all day every day—stop pretending that they are not total jerks.
