I can't even grasp the level of stupidity and insanity of this couple, hiking (and pregnant) in one of the most dangerous places in the world. Perhaps they expected a short stay and were hoping for a chance to be youtube stars.
Hopefully they get NOTHING, but I bet they get a book and movie deal out of it. Instead, they should have their earnings garnished for any expenses the USA had due to their narcissistic attention seeking.

Maybe there’s a special travel agency that these people call for these trips.

"Maybe theres a special travel agency that these people call for these trips."
That's another question I have. How in the world were they allowed to even travel to Afghanistan in the first place? I would think the only way you even get there is if you are an Afghani expat and by their names its pretty obvious they are not.
The last time I was in AAA I saw the posters for Disney World and trips down the Rhein in Germany. I never saw the poster for hiking in the Hindu Kush. I think that poster was at the Marine Corps recruiting office...

“”we have a lot of great national parks in America....””
Michelle obozo would take you up on that offer. Before the 2012 election she said if they were returned to the WH - don’t you love the THEY - she wanted to visit every single one of the national parks. HA! Don’t think she made it to any. They went to the Grand Canyon and Yellowstone, I believe in the first term and that was their sole interest in our NATIONAL PARKS.

It will be interesting to see how much “brainwashing” occurred during their time in captivity.

She come home with a 5 year old?She came home with more than that. 3 children, all born in captivity over the last 5 years.

Itll come out. Freed is different than releasedFrom the article:
The operation that set Coleman, Boyle and their children free remains somewhat mysterious. Pakistan's armed forces said in a statement an operation was undertaken by Pakistani forces based on actionable intelligence provided by U.S. authorities. U.S. intelligence agencies had reportedly been tracking the hostages and shared the location with Pakistani counterparts when the hostages shifted into Pakistani territory Wednesday.

This whole story is unbelievable. I sure don’t believe it.

The article says the husband refused to get on a U.S. military jet because he feared he would end up in Guantanamo because he had been married to the sister of someone who was there.
