No more taxpayer funded stadiums for billionaire owners and their millionaire players.

Bob Kraft financed and built his own stadium... No worries in New England. To bad the rest of the NFL doesn’t do the same.

Not exactly true. The state contributed 17% of the $412-million cost. Still, a low public contribution when compared to other stadiums built over the past 20 years. The only stadium built with no public funding was MetLife in NJ. The Giants and Jets play there.

I stand corrected. I guess that was just some fake news that I recall from the past... But it sounded good.

Not so sure they are being exploited. From information out there the players union is giving a lot of money to leftist causes apparently with the players approval. But I will admit, they are useful idiots.

Are there any obstacles to another league starting up?

I don't know but they certainly can control who owns a team, just ask Rush Limbaugh.

The salary cap issue is covered under the CBA.

“Congress shall pass no law...”

Their mindless disrespect for a nation that makes most of them millionaires is Constitutionally protected.

However, my TV will never be subjected to their disgraceful conduct.

“The players’ silent demonstration, which began last year in protest against police violence toward racial minorities”

The players shouldn’t be blaming the entire nation for the actions of a few police officers.

Who pays for the road construction needed for infrastructure, it’s a combo of state and Fed $$. Plus all those state/county tax breaks, and tax payers building the stadiums.
