I agree that, to put it differently, some people deserve to pay for their bad actions, even if that means their death. But a lot of citizens believe what I said.

Voters control our country. If they are subject to being bought then too bad. Voters certainly are talked into things by politicians that are the wrong things to do.

There is such a thing as “collective conscience”. Perhaps to you it’s mob psychology. I like your quote, “For everyone who receives something without working, there is someone else who works without receiving” but don’t agree that working without receiving is slavery. It’s not slavery if you do it willingly.
